April Inn
A little outside the downtown Maymyo, April inn is located in a quiet and tranquil place. It has six bungalows, each with private bathroom, TV, twin beds and a porch for breakfast. Dahlia Motel
This friendly hotel run by an outgoing Muslim is located a little off downtown. This is a popular low budget motel in a peaceful residential neighborhood. All rooms have TV and private bathrooms. Prices start from US$ 5 for standard single room. Contact phone number is 085-22255, 21912, 09-20 44 153.
Grace Hotels
There are two Grace Hotels in Maymyo, namely Grace 1 and Grace 2. Both of them are located in nice locations. Rooms are cheap and staff friendly. Grace Hotel 1 is located at 114A, Nan Myaing Road, just 5 min walk from the main market. Phone 085-21230. Prices start at US$ 5 per person. Rooms are large with a large garden outside the hotel. Many restaurants serving Chinese, Indian and Myanmar food can be found nearby. San Francisco restaurant and Golden Triangle café are just nearby.
Grace Hotel 2 is located at 46/48 Mandalay-Lashio Road, just opposite the Purcell Tower. Phone 085-22081. Prices start at US$ 5 per person for standard room. This is a three floor hotel building with clean rooms. Basic rooms have no private bathrooms, but better rooms have attached private bathrooms.
Golden Dream Hotel
This is an old small hotel run by a friendly Indian family. It is located in the first floor, above the sweater shop. The rooms are old but clean and tidy. Basic rooms have shared bathrooms while better rooms have private bathrooms. Prices start at US$ 3 per person. Address is at 42/43 Mandalay-Lashio Road, phone 085-21302.
San Francisco Rest House
This small friendly resort style guest house is situated in a walking distance from the town center. The guest house has a beautiful garden, with a view of the Irrawaddy Valley, and equipped with satallite TV and phone in every room.
