Here are high resolution Myanmar Maps created my Myanmar blogger Nyi Lynn Seck. He requested some body to make all of them into a .rar file so that people can easily download these maps. These are free maps for non commercial purpose only. For commercial purpose, please contact the map author. He only finished the State maps so I collected only the state maps and make them into rar file, where you can download these high resolution Myanmar maps. The included maps in the rar files are: Kachin State Map Kaya State Map Kayin (Karen) state map Chin state map Mon state map Rakhine (Arakan) state map Shan State Map All the maps are high resolutions and can be used for non commercial purpose. If you are looking for the ancient map of Yangon (Rangoon) during the colonial period, either for the research or academic purpose, or just for curiosity, here is the map of Yangon (Rangoon) in 1912. You can see that colonial Rangoon was quite small compared to current day Yangon. Nevertheless, the city plan remains essentially the same today as 100 years ago. Here is what Rangoon (Yangon) was look like in 1914. Yes, this is not a photo, this is a map! An old map showing the area of then Rangoon. Royal lake is the Kandawgyi, and the area marked in yellow is the Cantonment. You can see that Rangoon then was just the downtown area and around Kandawgyi Lake.
