The following is the tentative agenda of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s historic Myanmar visit as obtained by Myanmar Today.

  •  3:00 PM – arrival to Naypyidaw by air

December 1

  • 9:00 AM –  meeting with Myanmar foreign minister Wunna Maung Lwin
  • 10:00 AM – meeting with President of Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein
  • 12:00 Noon – lunch with foreign minister Wunna Maung Lwin
  • 1:00 PM – meeting with Chairman of upper house Khin Aung Myint and Chairman of lower house Thura Shwe Mann
  • 4:00 PM – left for Yangon, visit to Shwedagon Pagoda
  • Stay at Chatrium Hotel Yangon
December 2
  • 9:00 AM – meeting with Democracy icon Aung Sann Su Kyi at her lakeside resident
  • Visit to Shan cultural museum
  • Afternoon – meeting with political parties and politicians at US embassy in Yangon
  • 4:00 PM – left Yangon by air
